The problem
Construction sites under a stormwater permit have to be inspected on a schedule, with photos and a paper trail. Most of that still happens on a clipboard and gets typed up later, if it gets typed up at all.
Why it matters
A missed inspection or a lost photo becomes a violation notice. When the evidence is captured on site against the permit, the report writes itself as a by-product of the inspection.
What I built
Product design and build, from the first wireframe to the working app.
- Projects tied to their permit number, construction phase and inspector
- Inspection forms with weather, phase, photo documentation and a BMP checklist (silt fence, inlet protection and the rest)
- SWPPP inspection reports generated from the inspection and shared or submitted to the city
- A dashboard of active projects, pending inspections and priority alerts
- Separate views for inspectors, developers and city stormwater staff
Where it stands
Public beta. Gallery images remain sample-data captures from an earlier demo, not verified customer projects. Signed-in product behavior has not been independently verified.
